1. Inside New Zealand: Murder in the Pacific: Filmmaker Annie Goldson (Georgie Girl, Punitive Damage) investigates the political and moral complexities of the 2001 slayings of Fiji Red Cross chief John Scott and his better half Greg Scrivener.

2.Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Who would have thought Mike Hosking would want to be a game show host? Ten years after the BBC launched this world-wide phenomenon, New Zealand at last mounts its own version (albeit out of Melbourne to save money).

3. Campaign �08: Ex-TVNZ news show boss Bill Ralston regroups for this series in which he interviews political party leaders about the key issues facing voters.

4. Eli Stone: The Pushing Daisies of legal dramas stars Jonny Lee Miller as a San Francisco lawyer wHO sees cases differently later being diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Entertainment Weekly judged it to be "solid as a rock candy".

5. Scrubs: The latest series ends sooner than usual because the Hollywood writers� strike untimely halted yield. The eighth season presumptively will be the last given stars Zach Braff and Judy Reyes, and creator Bill Lawrence have said they will quit at the end of it.

6. Big Shots: The Practice�s Dylan McDermott, Titus� Christopher Titus and Alias� Michael Vartan star in a male spin on Sex & the City, about four golfing buddies wHO run magnanimous companies. The New York Times mentation it "one of television�s rare examples of successful farce".
